Writing/Topic

This week we will begin reading ‘The Tall Tale of the Giant's Causeway: Finn McCool, Benandonner and the road between Ireland and Scotland’ and write a Setting description.

Phonic/Reading

This week’s spellings are on the sound ‘aw’.

We are reading Shared reader 42 Garland for the Door.

Maths

We will continue the unit on Addition & Subtraction. This week the children will focus on Subtraction & fact families.

Science

We will continue to explore some of the things that happen in each season, and begin to recognise places as being in the northern or southern hemispheres.

Special Events this Week

Tuesday morning - Pudsey will be visiting Nettlebed School! Children must wear school uniform but can also wear Pudsey ears and Tshirts, if they wish. As a class we will be aiming to complete as many Bearpees as possible over the week.
