Challenger's Week Ahead T6Wk6
Another busy week has flown by in Challenger Class and I can't quite believe that we are nearly at the end of the year.
The main event last week was Sports Day and miraculously, the weather held! The Year 1s did a great job on the track and in their field events. I hope everyone enjoyed the morning - adults and children alike. Mr Wright was capturing the event with his camera and these photos will be available for you to view and download. Details to follow shortly.

PSHE
On Tuesday afternoon children will take part in the re-sceduled SCARF live online event about Feelings
Revisiting our Pants are Private work. This weeks PSHE lesson is called Keeping Privates Private. Last week, we were thinking about what babies need. This week we will look at the changes that have happened to the children since they were babies.
Key questions:
How do you look different from when you were a baby?
What are the things you can do now that you couldn’t do when you were younger?
What are the things you are still learning to do?
We will talk specifically about going to the toilet, who used to help you and why you don't usually need help now. Children will be reminded of the proper words we use for male and female genitals so that they can tell someone if they have a problem.
Learning Outcomes:
Identify parts of the body that are private;
Describe ways in which private parts can be kept private;
Identify people they can talk to about their private parts
Have a lovely week!
Challenger children workd with Adventure children to represent numbers using natural materials. Great team work!
