Challenger Class - Final Week

Our final week of term has a science focus and children will be hypothesising, investigating, experimenting and having lots of fun. We'll look at some of the science that makes vehicles move and children will be able to observe and carry out a range of experiments connected with this.
We will follow the usual timetable and children will have PE on Tuesday and Thursday as normal.
Spellings and phonics
The spelling list for this week will contain some maths vocabulary and some science vocabulary. Some of the words might be quite tricky but please don't let that put you off. Children should try to learn these as they may need to include them in writing about the experiments.
The RAPID group will focus on the grapheme air and their spellings relate to this.
In maths we will learn about position and direction.
We have had a super term and children have worked hard. I can hardly believe that we are nearly at the end of the penultimate term. I am looking forward to a final fun week in Challenger Class.
HAVE A GREAT WEEK EVERYBODY!
