The term is flying by! Another week of 'By the Sea' topic work. It was fun to find out about Grace Darling and then have an amusing story about a lighthouse keeper. The seagulls had a nasty surprise one day when they ate the mustard sandwiches. We all wrote about food we are not very keen on.
This week we will be working on our own activities in a diary writing focus. Our story later in the week is about a mermaid. After listening to many stories about the sea we will try to write one of our own.
There will be a flexible timetable as special events take place. We are looking forward to watching the play by Upper School production and participating in Sports Day.
