It has been a brilliant start to term 6. The sun has been shining and we enjoyed time outside building fabulous sandcastles. Summer has arrived! The forecast is for the sun to continue to shine so please remember to apply sun cream, send in a sun hat and a water bottle, which we will refill as necessary during the day.
In the coming week we will be finding out about living by the sea in a very different temperature. What is it like where it is cold, icy and snowy? We will be writing facts and describing actions of animals moving in the environment.
Our maths is linked to counting forwards and backwards, knowing the numbers in the correct order and recording them, counting in 10's to 100.
We continue to work on Phase 3 sounds and learn about alternative combinations of letters to make the same sound from Phase 5.
