Adventure class. Term 4. Week 2.

Adventure children have been joining in with lots of exciting activities related with our Topic "Fairy Tales".

For Science this week we have talked about air, and how it is a type gas. We talked about what happens to your chest and lungs when you breath in and out, and what happens when you blow with a straw into the water. What are those bubbles?

The book of the week was "The Little Red Riding Hood" and Adventure children did a fantastic job creating their own small world with puppets to recreate the story.

In Phonics we keep on learning Phase 4 sounds. And the tricky words that tried to tricked us were "little" "do" "were" "where".

In Maths children were encouraged to focus on ordinality, considering where numbers to 8 are in relation. We worked on "more than" "less than" to describe relationship between numbers. A part from that Adventure children are becoming experts in rote counting to 100.

Have a great weekend!
