Adventure class. Term 1. Week 2
Our second amazing week has gone past! Adventure children have been so good coming into school without parents and getting on with their day. Thanks to parents for understanding that from now on we will have to drop them off at the gate :)
This week has been super busy and full of activities and play. We had the chance to get to know each other and make new friends! Now Adventure children will have a buddy from Year 6 to play with too! This meeting will take place once a week.
During Phonics we have been practicing our rhyming words and singing the ABC song. You can carry on practicing at home with them.
In Maths we have practiced arranging objects and people... yes, people! into groups or sets looking at their attributes, colour, shape, size or type. You can do the same at home with objects and toys. Also we have been practicing our matching skills and rote counting to 20 and beyond.

We have worked other areas of the curriculum like music, where we had a little party singing and dancing, and art where we made fish and decorated them to be part of our maths display.
Have a lovey weekend everyone!
