Y3/4 Football

Huge congratulations to the Y3/4 Mixed Football team who played at Langtree this afternoon. Both the boys' and girls' teams had come 2nd in their respective tournaments previously and both had lost out to Goring.

In the first match today they were up against Goring and started as they meant to go on with two early goals. The team won their first 3 matches and in the final few seconds lost their fourth against Whitchurch A in the final seconds of the match. It was a nervous wait while the remaining matches were played out to hear the results. Three teams drew on points (Stoke Row, Goring and Nettlebed) but the winners on goal difference were... NETTLEBED!

Also congratulations go to Ollie who was awarded the Olympic Value medal for Respect.
