Goring Cross Country
A strong Nettlebed Team went to Goring today for the third race in the partnership series. It was a long course and quite slippery underfoot although we were thankful that the rain held off.
As ever our runners put in some great performances and achieved some very pleasing team scores. There was great camaraderie amongst our pupils as they all supported each other brilliantly and I was delighted to see some of our pupils also congratulating runners from other schools.
Millie ran a very brave race for Y5/6 Girls and came in 4th place, just missing out on a medal. Olly was on great form, coming first in his race by a long way. He was also awarded the Olympic Value medal for Inspiration.
Year 3/4 boys came third in the team event.
Congratulations to everyone who has run in any of the races this season. Nettlebed came fourth overall.
