Oxfordshire Primary Schools Cross Country Championships- Millie, Olly and the Y6 Boys are the champi

Despite a terrible forecast, the weather was actually quite kind to our runners on Saturday morning with just a few short showers and some blustery moments. Underfoot, however, it was quite slippery which made it a tough run for everyone. As ever, our runners gave some fantastic performances and the strength of our small school was most certainly on show. Have a look at these... Y5/6 Girls Football - Qualified!

Huge congratulations to the Y5/6 Girls 'A' team who came second in our primary partnership tournament last week. They go through to the regional final which will be held at St Birinus on 11th March. The 'B' played really well and came third in their tournament. Special congratulations go to Ella and Sophie who were awarded Olympic value medals for Courage.

Y2 Indoor Athletics

Congratulations to Y2 who came away in 3rd place overall at the athletics event today where they took part in running events, various obstacle relays, and jumping and throwing events. It was a new experience for everybody but they weren't put off by trying something different and everyone gave of their best in everything they did. Everyone deserved a medal for their efforts but four Olympic Value medals were awarded to Ella for Determination, Freya for Excellence, Albie for Teamwork and Summer for Courage.

Indoor Athletics for Y5/6 and Year 1 Football

Last week saw the Y5/6 team head indoors for the Sports Hall Atheltics competition and Year 1 Played a football tournament on the astro pitch at Langtree. There were some excellent performances at the athletics and the team just missed out on qualification, coming third. Year 1 had a great time at the football on Thursday and both teams showed some good skills and excellent behaviour on and off the pitch. Well done to Eloise, William and Matthew who won Olympic Value medals for determination. We were lucky enough to have Ed's big brother, Dan, refereeing the matches.
